[Solidworks] Problem between configuration and BOM

Hello

I'm looking to get out of the BOMs of my assemblies with a "Part Number" column that corresponds to the name of the part configuration, and a "Description" column that corresponds to the description of the configuration in question

I can give the desired name to the configuration, the desired text in the description, and check the box "use in the nomenclature", it does not take effect in my nomenclature.

However I don't know the nomenclature options well, I guess I can't find the right option to activate.

PS: I'm on solidworks 2011.

Hello

On your nomenclature you can right-click then insert a column and there a tab opens, scrolls down and then chooses "No from the configuration.

Thank you, it works!

Strangely enough, I tried yesterday but at the first column insertion the selection menu is empty, I have to do it a second time for it to work.

 

In any case, I'll finally be able to extract my bills of materials directly:)
