Solidworks: Problem with a Plan offset!

Hi all

I have a problem,

I can't make a plane shift, I want to shift my plane to the right or top, on the axis I created, so that I can sketch on it afterwards,

But I can't do it, yet I try...

Could you please help me?

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Well you have created a construction line

You click on your line to select it with the control key activated and you select the extreme point of this said line

in theory and in practice your plan is made

Hello

Can you put your piece in for a look ?

Thank you for your answers.

So @gt22 when I do as you tell me, he puts it in the way that I don't want it at all!

So @ac cobra 427 is good I found how to put the attachment, took a look!

Take a screenshot to understand and draw a line to know how you want your plan

Here is a little tutorial on how to do it

Thank you @ac cobra 427

But I don't want it to be like that my plan,

I want him to be on the axis and centered!

Well on your image attached to your question that's how he understands it.

In any case if you want it centered; you just have to create a dot in the middle of your axis and do the same as explained in my little tutorial or SolidWorks 2016 attachment

Sorry I express myself badly,

Basically, I would like the plane to be like the one we see in blue on the image, but on the axis which is slightly tilted!

So you want a plane that is perpendicular to the plane of the sketch and that passes through the construction line ("the inclined axis").
We must therefore select the plane of the sketch as the first reference with the perpendicular option and the axis as the second reference.

I'll explain how I want it through the image!

Hello

I suggest that you do the following:

  1. Sketch on the right plane
  2. On this sketch, make a vertical construction line constrained on the origin. Then a second perpendicular that you dimension with respect to the origin so that you can move it more easily later, up or down.
  3. Create a plane by selecting the horizontal line, select the second reference plane and put the angle that will allow you to tilt your plane as you want as in your drawing
  4. Validate and  from there you can drag this plane up or down by changing
    the 2° .
  5. From this plan you make your sketches as you wish to do your smoothing later

Kind regards

on your line create  a line  perpendicular to it

you click on your line once your sketch is closed and on the point you should have your plan

Thank you for your answers.

I succeeded with the way of gt22.

I will be able to create my other profile and then link it with the little one you saw at the bottom etc ...

THANK YOU
