Soliworks simulation

Hello to you.

I wanted to do a static simulation on an assembly but I can't activate solidworks simulation while solidworks SimulationXpress is enabled. fine, but how do I disable this simulationXpress? I have the 2017 premium version for your information.

Thank you for your help

Hello

In SW   ==> Tools ==>Add-ins==> uncheck what you don't use

Especially pay attention to the "load at startup" column

Personally, I have a "Add-ons" tab that allows me to load the add-in I'm interested in on demand

Kind regards

Hello Zozo and thank you already for your answer.

I looked at what was in the supplements. I couldn't find SimulationXpress and that's the problem. I need to uncheck simulation express to activate solidworks simulation

You understand?

I'm attaching a screenshot so that you can see my add-ins

Hello

I especially see that you didn't check SW simulation. So no wonder it doesn't start.

I believe that there is no incompatibility between express simulation and SW simulation.

Kind regards

Yes, you can't activate solidworks simulation as long as express simulation is active. The question is "how to uncheck express simulation"?

@Frederic

I understand your problem,

Try this but no guarantee of results      Tools ==> Xpress products ==> Custom menu ==> uncheck Xpress simulation.

Exit SW and reboot and see if it has any effect. Don't forget to re-check Normal simulation with a start on load (see in the columns on the right.

Keep us informed ;-)

Kind regards

I have both simulation modes and I've never had this problem (which version  of SW do you have by the way!;-)

Hello Zozo.

I followed your advice, and it works!

it's weird because I went to Tools ==> Xpress Products, then I couldn't find ==> Custom menu ==> uncheck Xpress simulation.

I didn't have a file open, but suddenly I saw that "simulation" was available...

In short, we leave it like this without really understanding (for me) and we simulate it now!:

A big thank you to you. !!

Well now in simulation I'm a beginner.. It's going to be a cake,...

Thanks again
