Structural member according to a plan

Hello 

I'm working on SolidWorks 2013 and I'd like to know if it was possible to limit the "structural member" function to a plane or a face in the same way as a basic extrusion.

I would like  the structure (above) to stop at the face of the part without having to cut the structure afterwards.

Yes, you have to use the "adjust/extend" function in the welded construction tab

Yes it is possible, in the end conditions you have to choose a side.
