When I create a drawing with a BOM, hide or delete rows or columns that I don't need, I save and close the drawing.
When the colleague at his workplace then opens them, the lines are displayed again for him.
How can this be prevented?

You should compare your different Solidworks settings, consider the possibility of sharing your settings (*.sldreg) if you have the same version of Solidworks (Version and " Type " * )
*" Do not share your *.sldreg files between a Standard version and a Premium version... and vice versa.
