Edge Styling on Predefined View

Hello

I'm trying to make a drawing template with predefined views.

On the straight views, I have set the hidden tangent edges.

On the ISO view I set the tangent edges with a font.

I registered my model in . DRWDOT .

And when I use my model to plan a room, the iso views end up in hidden tangent edges...

I work under SW 2018.

Is there a recognized bug? Bad handling on my part?

Thank you for your help

After various tries, I add that straight views always accept the style of tangent edges whatever it may be, and that iso views always go in hidden tangents

Hello @yve

Can you make us a screenshot please. before registering your .dot and/or what it looks like after.

Kind regards

The model, with the view on the right that is causing me problems:

The shot shot with this model, as you see, hidden tangents

Hello @yve

I can't see well, especially on the first photo.

tried this trick on your bottom image, you selected the middle icon as the template. Instead, take the second one that will make you see the hidden lines like when you do classic industrial drawing.

Indeed, as the model means "like the 3D model" in which if you don't put yourself in transparency, well you don't see the holes and other hidden machining.

Solidworks makes us smart  (it's the hidden functions that say "try again") we have to interpret what the hover message of an icon means.

Kind regards

Indeed, the image is not legible:\
