Removing Mesh Control

Hi all

Does anyone know how to remove a mesh control?
I tested a mesh optimization tool and I end up with almost 1000 mesh controls and I can't delete them.

Can you specify if this mesh optimization tool is indeed an internal SW tool.

Normally you click on the control in question in the tree and you do "delete".
