Delete the original part in mirror

When I make a mirror of a part, I would like to remove or dissociate the original part from its mirror

Mirror? You mean symmetry?
If it's symmetry, you have to create a symmetrical part. Insert/Symmetrical Part Menu.
Many options are available, including breaking the link with the original part

Hello;

It is often easier to ask Solidworks to create symmetry from an assembly, even if it means creating one temporarily, it gives more options (new part or new configuration...).
