I often use old plans in my designs and on some I have Revision hints that I would like to reset
because they no longer need to be indexed, the pieces change numbering.
Until now I deleted manually but I would like to do it automatically.
Is it possible to do this automatically?

This automation is not included in SolidWorks, but it is possible with a macro!
I actually created a macro that does it, but this macro, for simplicity, deletes the revision table and then inserts a blank one.
On the other hand, you need some knowledge of SolidWorks and VBA APIs.

If needed, I can provide the part of the code that clears the revision table and inserts a new one.
In fact it's just a part of a larger macro, which allows you to save under a new name-code, a 3D (ASM or PRT) and its drawing, by updating various custom properties (code, label, revision etc) and "cleans" the drawing of its old revision table!
