Remove a piece of coube

Hello I have a small problem on Solidworks

Let me explain, when I create a boundary surface from curves, I sometimes want to 'remove' a piece of this surface, but when I remove it using 'restrict surface', the curve created is still and I don't know how to remove it, I don't know if I was clear, so I add a photo

so here is my surface

 

 

and when I cut it the bottom curve remains present I don't understand

Hello

 

It's normal that the curve stays because you don't delete the sketch but only the function. If it's just visual, you can simply hide the curve by right-clicking on it.

Thank you for your answer effectively hide it or the problems I was just afraid that by hiding it I would have problems later on
