Remove a part from all BOMs

Hello

I am contacting you because I am looking for a solution to save me a lot of time.

Let me explain: I make about ten assemblies per week and in these assemblies I have a part inserted (from 1 to 48 times per assembly approximately) but which should not appear in the nomenclature. Is it possible to make sure that this part never appears in the nomenclature but that it is present in all my assemblies?

Hello

Just select them all in the tree and then right-click, property and exclude from the nomenclature ...

If this part still has the same name then it is possible to automate it by a macro.

Kind regards

In fact, I don't want to have to exclude it every time in each assembly. What I wanted to know was if there was a possibility to do it every time without it being up to me to do it

In my opinion it's not possible but other members of the forum may know a trick ...

Okay, thank you anyway for your answers

Good evening

To my knowledge, not feasible natively. Even a duplicated part while the original part is excluded from the BOM does not retain this parameter.

The "easiest" way is to go through the filter in the tree and select all the occurrences at once and set the option to exclude these components.

After that, it's macro if you want to do it in one click without asking any questions.

Okay, thank you for your answers. It's true that I tried everything and I didn't find it either. It would have saved me a lot of time but then I'm going to continue as I was doing and I'll see.

PS: If I find the solution I will share it.
