On Solidworks 2018, how do you achieve a symmetry of a repetition in a workpiece?

Indeed, after setting up my staircase using the equations, when I increase the height, I need more post that is displayed on the repeat side but not on the symmetry side???

Because basically, I select the parts of the repetition and not of the function. So when my staircase is bigger, well, there are no posts.

Do you have a tip?

Do the repetition after the symmetry (including it in the repetition of course).

it's a "hack" since unfortunately SW doesn't always handle the selection of a repeat/symmetry function as such when it's selected to do a repeat/symmetry.
