Area in m² and length in mm

How to get in the properties of a sheet metal:

- the length of the profiles in mm

- the surface area of the sheets in m²

??

(ok for SmartProperties)

Thank you

Hello

Can you use the equations for conversion?

We can use the result of an equation to put it in a custom property or in an annotation of a drawing, see this question:

Hello, maybe you need to take a look at the unit system, at the bottom right of the screen.

Hi @ thewarner

in addition to @ Lucas' answer

To add an excel table in your drawings to do the conversions

In my opinion nothing very concrete

A priori, the unit of area depends directly on the unit of length:

"The units of length used for volume, area, center of gravity, and other properties of mass or section that depend on length. So, for a length in inches, the units of area are in square inches."

So you have to go through an equation or a family of parts via Excel!

ok, I'll see about it

Thank you

In a family of parts with controlled dimensions for the length, and a formula for the calculation and conversion of the surface area...
