I have a problem with a solidworks file that I want to turn into a massive (filled) part. I can't do it. The goal is to be able to do 3D machining on wood with solidcam. Bust.SLDPRT (15.7 MB).
If someone could give me a little help, it would help me a lot.
Hello Thank you for answering me. Alas, no, I only have this one. It is a bit dated because at the time I had given up, not knowing how to do it. I'm trying again...
Otherwise you should be able to attach the native file or a conversion of the Solidworks to STEP, Parasolid or IGES version so that we can try to offer you solutions.
It's like the other subject: import of 3D scans not cleaned with surfaces that crisscross (at the crotch in particular) and holes → unmanageable for me under SW. You have to clean the surfaces with a surface software that allows you to do it ' easily ' re-import into SW and then you can do something.
Thank you for your answers and sorry for the late reply, I was at work... I'm going to do a search on the net to find a cleaner file. This file is saved with a soliworks 2025 version...
