SW: Solidworks 2015 SP04 Installation Problem

Hi everyone,

I am currently experiencing a problem with the installation of solidworks 2015 SP04, the installation setup starts and remains stuck on the window in the photo. Nothing is displayed in the window... However my computer system is new and suitable to run this software without pb.

Please check if you have installed the Microsoft KB3072630 from Windows Update, like this:

  1. To open Windows Update, click the Start button .Image du bouton Démarrer In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
  2. In the left pane, click View update history.

If so, you should uninstall it by following this tutorial:

If it doesn't work, you can reset the SolidWorks settings (which you can restore later) to determine if it comes from the configuration of the workstation: http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/reinitialiser-les-parametres-solidworks

I have carried out all the actions described in the tutorial because the KB3072630 update is well installed.

On the other hand, nothing helps, always the same problem...

Try to install the sp3 and update it to the sp4, maybe it will work

Is the antivirus active? because it can block the installation by quarantine. 

It all depends on the antivirus installed on the machine
