SW Simulation - Pulley-belt and shaft holding

Hello

I want to check the performance of a shaft in alternating bending and shearing (fatigue). The bending force (0.24N) is exerted by a toothed pulley. The axle rotates at a maximum rotation speed of 4500 rpm and the maximum motor torque is 8 N.m.

I did 3 static simulations: bending, rotation and bending + rotation. The safety coeffs are low (less than 5, without alternating stress). I also did RDM calculations by hand. On the contrary, I found safety coefficients above 100. So I don't know what results to take, and I'm not sure how my efforts will be modeled.

What is the best way to model such a system for simulation? Should we model in static only or in fatigue and if so, with what parameters?

For now, I have modeled the 2 bearings with "Bearing type support". The dimensions of the shaft in diameter are 8mm, then 10mm (pulley) and 15mm (bearings).

Thank you!

Hello

A small diagram can be (dimensions, direction of forces)?

Yes, absolutely!

Attached is the CAD file corresponding to my assembly for modeling. However, I did the simulation on the shaft only.

Thank you!

modelisation_axe_moteur.sldasm

I don't have solidworks, so I can't do anything with the native.

On the other hand, you only posted the asm. Without the loans that go with it, a priori, we can't do anything with it.

So if it were possible to have a diagram or some views it would be nicer.

Thank you

It's okay, I solved my problem by contacting the hotline! Thank you anyway.
