Hello
When wedge with 3 ply, how not to have the excess material of the angle as shown in the attached image.
I use SW2011
I'm sure the answer is simple, but I can't find it :-(
Kind regards
Orval

Hello
Can you post your file?
Check the "Adjust side folds" box in the functions of your folds and it should work.
Hello
I don't think the "Adjust side creases" option existed in SW2011 (it's a bit far away!) On the other hand, have you tried to check the "Automatic notching" option (rectangular or circular) when applying the Sheet Metal function?
Kind regards
Hello
Thank you for your answers
exact "Adjust Side Folds" does not exist in SW2011.
I checked the "Automatic notching" option, but even selecting and changing the settings doesn't remove the excess material in the corner.
conclusion, I remove matter to remove what is excess.
Kind regards
Hello
Did you do it in all the folds?
If I'm not mistaken, I made an unfolded and then a sketch with 4 diameters at the intersection of the folds and removal of material then folded and there I had the corners that were clean.
