SW Screws Read-Only

Hello

My colleague and I share a library of components. When I insert fasteners into my assembly, everything goes well, but when I want to save this assembly, SW asks me where to save the fasteners. Hence my suspicion of read-only screws.

How do I ensure that the assembly keeps the link from the fastener to the library and avoid having to save a copy of the fastener components?

Hello

Have you  tried checking this option in your SolidWorks System Options (see attachment)?

"Do not require that referenced documents be saved as read-only (ignore changes)"

To be tested ;-)
