SW14. Show Configuration Name

Hello

I would like to insert in a drawing automatically the name of the active configuration, i.e. the one selected for the drawing.

I can't find the configuration offer in property.

thank you in advance

SLTS

I don't think it's possible without Macro.

Maybe thanks to the nomenclature?

If we insert the nomenaclature, I believe that SolidWorks displays the name of the configuration.

Edit: a priori it's possible if the "SW-Configuration Name" property exists.

Then just make $PRP:"SW-Configuration Name" appear in a note or in the title block to make it appear.

With form editor it doesn't do it?

See this tutorial http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/editeur-de-formulaire-solidworks

This is possible directly with a note related to the property: $PRPSHEET:"SW-Configuration Name"

SOLIDWORKS will put the name of the configuration of the part that is inserted into the first drawing view.

I take Frank Thomas' answer, in addition I add that the name of the configuration will be taken from the view specified in the properties of the sheet (see screenshot)
