SW2016: Number of activations exceeded?

My pc has updated from windows 7 to windows 10 and since SW2016 starts but freezes when loading the license, I have an error message that tells me that "the number of activations has been exceeded" when I only have one workstation. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Hello

I haven't updated it on my personal PC yet because I was afraid I wouldn't have SolidWorks anymore!

I didn't have this problem, but try a complete uninstall of Solidworks and a reinstall

Hello

I think you should have transferred your license before installing W10.

Try it anyway.

If not contact your dealer

you have to deactivate  your old SW

to be able to install it again on another PC

Good evening

If you change your operating system, you must change the version of SolidWorks to 2016 64 SP0

The best thing to do is to reinstall Windows 7 or contact your reseller.

By updating my windows system from 7 to 10, the license was blocked by SW. You have to call them to get them to reactivate it. So my problem is solved.
