SolidWorks Review Table

Under SolidWorks 2012

Problems with my SolidWorks Review Table:

  1. In Tools/Options/Document Properties under Table/Review I set up my drawing for numbers like Review.

The problem is that the Revisions in my design office are called R0/R1...... R9.

Problem: I would like to add the "R" in the REV column but

  • SolidWorks doesn't keep it for me if I insert a new table into a document
  • SolidWorks doesn't add the R if I do "add a revision"

Anyone have a tip? Have there been any improvements on this side under SW 2014?

  1. Regarding the formatting of the table, I have parémetrée a font [10] and a [Nomal] style for the column headers of the table  and then for the addition of Revision I would like a font of [12] with a [Bold] style.

Problem: If I add a new table this "customization" doesn't remain.

It's a BUG, anyone are also experiencing this problem?

Hello

I think you don't choose the right revision table template when you insert it:

I don't think it's possible to keep the "R" in the revision box, because in the document properties, you only have 2 possible choices for this column (see attached image). Inserting a new table into the document makes solidworks configure this table with the properties of the document (either A - B -  C etc. or 1 - 2 - 3 etc.) no customization possible.

For the font size, for it to return, you have to click in the box (e.g. Rev) and the font resumes its format.

Are you in the sw version? 12, 13 ? Because I didn't notice it anymore under SW13. Only on SW12.

(and not tested under SW14).

Hello

To overcome this problem I put Rev in annotation and paste my hypertext link next to it. It's not great but it gives the illusion

@SEPM. Gerald:

Can you send me a "screenshoot" of what you did?

I solved my problem in the following way:

  • I deleted the SolidWorks revision board
  • I integrated the revision table into my custom cartridge

  • I have integrated the table padding into my custom properties

FYI: Properties are only in the rooms. No properties on the drawing.

Hello

How did you create your revision board?

I would like to be able to have several hints of revisions in my drawing like you.

Thank you.
