To answer gt22, with my CUBE U30GT tablet at 150€, I run Need For Speed in HD Ready (1280 x 720 p) with more than 30 frames per second. The model I recommended U30GT2 is superior both in terms of processor and RAM. On my phone, I run this same game in Full HD (1080p): you have to see the quality of the reflections on the body to realize it (well I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with quad core 2.3 Ghz and 3GB of RAM)
I think Android devices are able to display a complex assembly of SolidWorks without any problems, the improvements would be more on the programming side. But I haven't tested Edrawings on Android yet, so I can't say!
Good evening
I just thought of something... the handling on the computer.
It's a usual fact on mac where (with permission of course) you take control of another remote machine and you have the full display of the slave screen on the mac (laptop for example) master.
You just need a good wifi connection, an HD graphics card and that's it.
No need to have tons of RAM, infernal processor since all the work is done by the slave.
At the cost a small laptop is enough, or even a small tablet.

@GT22
I rebuilt a T5500 recently bought from a small PC supplier in Villenoy who had sold it to me for 550€
with the same config as:
Just added 6GB of ECC ram which it pierced my buttocks because RAM of exceptional price.
It's not all the time but he has good plans because he buys from big companies.
If anyone is interested, I can be the negotiator or even tester before sending ;)
Hi to you
I'm posting this message to find out if since the original message there are new touch tablets dedicated to CAD?
Thank you!
Just to come back to the remote control, there is Teamviewer which is very practical (just to configure the CAD machine to be connectable permanently or almost)
