Hi all
I'm having a problem inserting a part family into the associated drawing. The size of this family is about 90 rows and I can't scale this family to show all of these rows in the MEP table. I then chose to go through an excel file, which I don't like as much since I lose the link with the family of parts. I am then also bothered to size this table.
My question: is there a way to size these tables in excel or an option that would allow you to have all the rows of a family of parts by inserting it in the MEP.
For your information I am under SW2016.
Thank you for your help!
Hello
I also already had this problem, to get there I had to save my part family so that you could see everything (by playing with the zoom) in my excel file because it seems to me that when you import it into Solidworks it's like a screen print. Try seeing.

I had also noticed this phenomenon: excel display = table display in SW.
Hello, maybe try this?
To insert an existing file as an OLE object:
- Click Insert > Object.
- In the dialog box, select Create from File.
- Click Browse to locate a file, and then click Open.
- Select from the following options:
Description option | |
---|
Articulated bar | The object is linked to the original document, and changes to the original file are reflected in your SOLIDWORKS document. If the object is not bound, it is embedded. |
