Technique: truck tipper

I am looking for technical information on skips :

Is there a standard on the position and size of the " Coal Gates" ?

I searched a bit.

I think that if it's so hard to find, it's because there isn't one^^ :D

to be confirmed anyway;)

Find out about these standards:

NF R17 108

NFR 17107  for hydraulics

NFR 17108 for cradle rings, etc.

Did you find the answer then?

I'm interested in that too^^

I don't have access to the standard (you have to pay !!!)

For the position and dimension, from what I have noticed, each builder positions it where it wants.

I contacted a tipper manufacturer by email (benne-cmb), but I have not heard from him yet.

The only document with dimensions that I found is this one below, however, there is no dimension of the hatches:

after I looked for 3D models of "Cereal Dumpsters" (with coal gates), I haven't (yet) found it.....

What is the ref of the standard?

Google: "standard" filetype:pdf...

Well seen stefbeno, sometimes there are pdfs of standards available on the net (often in English).

and yes it's true for the normative

You have to go through the purchase box

and it's not always giving ;-)

but it is part of the operating costs for a company so you shouldn't deprive it ;-)

See this link

After multiple searches, there is no standard.

Each manufacturer does what it wants.
