Hello
Holder of a Solidworks2013 license and therefore of the installation DVD, I want to reinstall it on a new pc... which doesn't have a DVD player!
How do I do it?
Thanks to any possible contributor who can help me.

Hello, apart from copying the dvd to a usb key, and in my opinion the dvd is protected so I think there is no real solution since even on the solidworks site it is not said that it is available for download.
Good luck
G.
Hello
Try to create a disc image from the DVD and mount it on a virtual drive.
If not, ask your SW dealer, he must have this

thank you G.
I still have the solution of the external DVD player...

2013 is no longer downloadable from the official website.
- Make an image of the DVD with a machine with a DVD player (with http://infrarecorder.org/ for example)
- Create a virtual drive and "mount" the image (with http://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/)
Proceed with the installation normally.
I just did it with a new stiff machine without worry. There is no special protection on the DVD, it's just a double layer so it's a bit tricky to duplicate (you need a good burner).
Hello, if you have another pc with a dvd player on your network, you can share the drive with your pc.
If it's at home and you have a dvd player for your TV, see if it doesn't have an rj45 port to connect it to your box. You should be able to find it on your network.
Otherwise, do as others have told you.
Thank you all.
The image of the dvd on the network worked very well.
