Hello to the whole community, and to the staff of Lynkoa,
Some topics seem not to find followers on Lynkoa and some products are not included in the list of CAD products (of the profile for those owned, and of the publications for the category concerned by the question).
I'm thinking specifically of Solidworks PCBs, Solidworks Flow Simulation , and Solidworks CAMs, but this can apply to other products and add-ons.
Although for the latter the notion of CAD is more debatable, technically the design must most often take into consideration the type of machine that will be machining it, with its restrictions, and consequently dictate the way in which the development of a part is approached. As such, creating and simulating the toolpath via Solidworks CAM is a great help. Wouldn't he legitimately have his place on Lynkoa ?
Regarding Solidworks PCB, this is clearly a CAD matter, so wouldn't it deserve to be included in the product list?
Does Solidworks Flow Simulation, on the other hand, seem less legitimate to you than Solidwork Simulation , which is already present?
Are there any particular reasons for these exclusions?
There is the improvement group where we can make proposals and otherwise there is the report a problem group or we can also publish if it can help you.
I had indeed already seen these groups and planned to sign up. Thank you for the reminder, it's now done.
However, the questions I am asking here are addressed to the greatest number of people, and can be subject to debate, so I find it more relevant to publish it in a more open place.
PS: I think that while scrolling down the page on the smartphone I accidentally clicked on "report abuse" in your message... It is obviously not a problem, on the contrary, and I apologize for this mishandling. Yours truly.
