Geometric Tolerance

Hello

I'd like to be able to apply a Geometry tolerance that points to both the reference surface and the defined surface on Solidworks. To this day I am obliged to locate a surface.
See attached photo, at the top what I am able to do, at the bottom what I would like to do (without having to tinker)

Hello

You have to right-click on the first arrow of the geometric tolerance and click on "insert a new branch"

I assume that you created the capture for the example but I would still like to point out, in case you want to apply this tolerance in the same case, that in this specific case the two representations have different meanings.

In one case you control a plane in relation to a generator and in the other in relation to an axis

Pressing "ctrl" when the arrow is selected also allows you to duplicate it (already works on SW 2014 and probably on a lot of previous versions). It's convenient and it works for many types of annotations.

The bottom representation is wrong because it has 2 arrows. It should have a black triangle to specify the reference.

You have to right-click on the tip of the arrow to be able to change its shape to a black triangle

Thank you both for your answers,

Ludo.mai, I did create the capture for the example :) / inserting a new branch is a solution but I tinker anyway, the two branches are linked ...

Froussel when I look at a GDI he allows me to make this representation, but I agree that it's not ideal. I followed your instructions, so I duplicated my tolerance and applied the black triangle on one of the two, there is a good rendering but it's still a hack.

I don't think the Geometric Tolerance tool allows for this kind of possibility

Hello

Uh, which version of the GDI? This notation, to my knowledge, has not existed for years with the advent of ISO GPS.

On a GDI from 2004, this rating already no longer exists, hence the fact that SW does not offer it by default. On a GDI from 1998 it existed but obsolete.
