Hello everyone,
I need to bend a sheet metal part from a DXF file. I converted it into a sketch in order to make an extrusion, I have the bend lines, but I can't bend it. Can you tell me if it's feasible in SolidWorks 2026?
Thank you

Yes, " sketched fold" function:
Be careful, the sketch of the fold must be a new sketch with just the sketch of the fold.
Hello, you have to convert the extrusion to sheet metal before bending ![]()
Or make sheet metal instead of extrusion.
I hadn't seen that it wasn't already sheet metal @Scofield1, thank you for the essential complement to my answer!
Thank you for your answers.
I had converted it to sheet metal, I don't use the Sketched Fold function. Because usually I build the folded part and then unfold it. I managed to do what I wanted thanks to your advice. Thank you
