TopSolid PDM

Hello

A friend saw a demo of Topsolid with a built-in PDM.

We discussed  it and suddenly we have a few questions and we can't find an answer on the net.

While waiting for him to contact Topsolid's sellers again if a TopSolid 7 user could answer these 3 questions:

1- Can the topsolid pdm be used as an EDM to manage PDF, Office, Mails?

2- Is the topsolid pdm used outside of Topsolid for EDM?

3- On which database is it "wired"?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

I've been a top solid user for about ten years.

First on the V6, now on the V7. It is true that the V6 presentation was difficult to use for an untrained user. (students on internships for example). We have just migrated to TOPSOLID V7, so training of our design office  in our premises. In the group, there were 2 young people, 1 engineering student and a 20-year-old colleague who had never worked in 3D design..... These 2 boys immediately understood this interface which is super intuitive.

Our company has migrated to the PDM and to the new super intuitive interface.

PS: I took the liberty of sending him a letter citing this question ;-)
