Hello
A client sent me a logo in .pdf format and asked me to make it appear positive on a SolidWorks design part.
What's the best way to do this, knowing that the logo is very complicated and tracing it from a sketch image using spline is just impossible?
Hoping someone can help me... Thank you in advance.
Adrien.

Hello
If it's a logo with edges, you may want to try to DXF it directly with "PDF to DXF ".

Hello
It's a bit the same case as this question: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/solidworks/extrusion-partir-d-pdf
An answer has been given and chosen so you can give it a try:)

If this does not work with the dxf conversion method, you can try to image the PDF and then trace it in SolidWorks.
I made a tutorial for that:

Hello
download the Inkscape software on 01net, free, it works very well.

Mathieu, the link is not good, it redirects to a page "Not found" instead of the tutorial.

Thank you very much @Jose-accessa.
I didn't make a mistake in the link because I can access it without worry and it has already been downloaded. But I know this problem because I've already had feedback on the previous tutorials that I put online. Some days they are not accessible...
I can't do better but don't hesitate to visit the page again next time :-)
