In Inventor 2011:

A sub-assembly nested within another sub-assembly can be controlled by the " master "  assembly by over-writing the constraints, which makes it possible to visualize the open, closed, part taken, etc. For example, a pneumatic clamp fixed on a support, which is itself fixed on a rotating cylinder.

However, the parameters of the nested subset, including the numeric user parameters, do not appear in the " master " parameters. How do I get them to appear in the master settings list?

This is necessary for animation in Inventor Studio, which takes over the user numeric settings.

Removing all the constraints from all the subsets and putting them in the master is tedi^god and illogical.

At the bottom of the page with the parameter list of the subset, there is the link option.

You have to activate it and then look for the file in the directory, then in the Studio settings to activate it.
