Turning a 3DXML into a SolidWorks WWTP

Hello

I wanted to know if it was possible to transform a 3DXML into a Step with which we could work on Solidworks.

Waiting for a response.

Kind regards.

Apparently you can open the 3DXML file (Dassault's proprietary format with Catia, Composer.
For export, I don't have any on hand, I can't answer you.
Spring:

Whoever sent you the file can't give you a step file directly?
Edit:
Explanatory link of the formal 3DXML which is apparently a zip with edrawing nomenclature file...:

Hello;

According to Adobe;

To open a 3DXML file in CATIA V5, follow these steps:

Open CATIA and select File > Open.
Select your file and open the File Type drop-down menu.
Select 3DXML. A preview should be displayed.
Open the file for editing or select Read-only.
Click the Open button.

… nothing too complicated.

But if you look for CATIA's help:

… However, some adjustments must be made.

Kind regards

For information after presentation 3Dexperience would use the 3dXML format for online saving, 3DXML files that are transformed to reimport locally for a SW opening.
It may therefore be possible via 3Dexperience to export a 3DXML file as a step or directly in SW format.
