Coordinate system and quantity sorting

Hello

I have a small sorting problem in my nomenclatures. When I sort them by mark or quantity, he arranges them as follows: 1; 13 ; 124 ; 2 ; 3 ; 34 ; 5 ; 8 ; 81 ; 82 ; 9 and not in ascending order. Is there any adjustment to be made?

Good evening

when you right-click on the column and select Sort You need to uncheck all boxes in Group Items and check Numeric in the Method part. Now it should work.

Oops dsl, I didn't pay attention that it was for electrical.

@Ac cobra 427  No big deal ;-)

because as it's the nomenclature it's probably the same program  (are not crazy at SW) because a nomenclature  is only a query and a "populate range" not enough without getting up at night to write to your parents!!!

Thank you for your answers but in SW Electrical the data columns are restricted according to the nomenclature chosen (cable, material, wire, ...) and there is no sorting option except up/down on the chosen column. Right-clicking is only used to display the list of available column data.

Their nomenclature system is, I think, poorly thought out. Sometimes we have 35 choices of columns and others only 4. And you can't mix different types in a single nomenclature e.g. cable and hardware. Of course, if you know how to code in SQL, nothing is impossible, unfortunately that's not my case.

A problem still to be solved.

Hello

Try looking in the "Sorting and Breaking" tab.

Here is the sorting settings with the possibility of doing several at the same time.

To access it, you have to go to the nomenclature template. Access by properties in the property manager.

I hope this will help you and sorry to answer only now, I don't come to the forum often.

Kind regards
