Tube and plasma cutting

Hi all

I need to perform a plasma cut on a tube and I can't find how  to "flatten" the cut to switch it to the machine's 2d software.  I went with mechanically welded by default but I don't know if it was a good idea then.
I'm on solidworks 2019

Hello

You have to make your sheet metal tube with the appropriate function, and you can unfold it. I hope I understand the meaning of your question.

The problem is that I'm not sure that the unfolding appreciates that the cut is not normal on the surface.
