Tutorial evaluation on solidworks motion study (SW2013)

Hello

This morning I tried to make the tutorial that was on solidworks 2013

So I opened the document, perform what it says

and I ran for the calculation as indicated in the tutorial

Worries: I have nothing happening, no movement

I am on solidworks standard and given that it was accessible I told me that it must be possible to do it

I'm attaching the tutorial with a screenshot of what I had done

tell me again if these because it's a standard version

thank you in advance

Steve

If it's a standard animation there shouldn't be a problem.

If nothing moves in my opinion it's just that the position keys of the initial and final piece are the same.

Try to get to the last key, move the component and right-click on the key to update it.

Hello

No, it works with SolidWorks Standard!

Where exactly do you block?

Re

Looking at the tutorial in question, I think there is an error in the order of operations.

In the "definition of animation positions" section, I would reverse step 3 and 4.

See attached image.

Hello

@fthomas: So I have updated the key, I am attaching the file to indicate how I had to do it

@Coyote: Indeed it seems that the tutorial is not quite right, because the manipulation I had to do does not seem to be indicated :/

I leave the post open the time to finish the tutorial like its I will post a file with all of them as I had to do and if I have other problems it will save me from asking a 2nd question again;)

ok so the problem was indeed related to the end key

Hello again,

I copied the tutorial delivered with solidworks and I put in the => Definition of animation positions

The points 5 that I had to do to get past the problem I put them in blue;)

I'm attaching the pdf, the rest of the text and images are copy/paste from the tutorial

That way, if people would like to do it, they won't be stuck in the same place  as me;)

Good afternoon and thank you for your answers:)
