A good mouse?

Hello

My good mouse has just let go of me and she is now nowhere to be found. The one I have as a replacement is torture: clicks too hard, approximate pointing,.... In short, for drawing it's not going well at all.

Could someone advise me to find one?

Thank you

Hello

Personally, I've never had a "bad mouse". In general, I get used to the one I have!

Do you want a 3-button or a 5-button?

What is your budget?

A 6-button mouse 2400 dpi (so responsive) and very cheap here:

Ordered, but not yet received!

In my opinion, mice are up to everyone. You just have to get used to it for a few hours or days and then everything rolls!

Hello

Personally I have a Logitech performance mouse MX, which I'm very happy with!

After that, it's up to everyone's appreciation, but I find that less than 6 buttons on a mouse to draw, it's just a pain!

Hello.

For my part, I only have a simple M705 logiech and its perfect drive for me.

As everyone says before, it's a question of feeling with your equipment.

Hi a-hincelin,

I have been using my Logitech MX Revolution for more than 5 years. Unfortunately this product is no longer manufactured. However, one model is very close: Performance Mouse MX

It is also necessary to take into account the ancillary uses: office automation, erp, etc. The MX has the advantage of having the scroll wheel which allows two speeds of scrolling. You switch from one to the other by clicking on the roulette wheel. It's very practical, especially on excel.

Then comes the question: wireless or not. I personally think that if you want wireless, you have to take high-end products: battery and not battery, and autonomy... If not, we keep the good old thread.

Once again, the product must therefore be adapted to its use. The configurable buttons allow you to switch from one activity to another and to benefit from adapted shortcuts.

Finally, the last point that seems important to me is the after-sales service. So I'm going to talk about what I know: the Logitech service is great.

See you...

I also use a Logitch performance MX which is very practical :-)

Afterwards, since we are heavy users, we have to think as much as possible about ergonomics to avoid unpleasant problems with our hands :-|

I will opt for a vertical ergonomic mouse as soon as I can.

Same thing, I have the Logitech performance mouse MX, super nice to draw!

I programmed the CTRL functions (to copy and paste), normal zoom to the face, constraint and measure on it.

With one hand you can do a lot of things with this already! (Practical when waiting on the phone!! :)

I see that you all have suitable mice!

We at the office, we only have the basic ones delivered with the PC (HP or Dell before) which only have 3 buttons!

So I made a lot of keyboard shortcuts on the left side of the keyboard (near CTRL, ALT, TAB and ESC).

Hello

Personally, I use this one

Really nice ergonomics. It's always good to be able to draw for 10 hours without having pain in your hand or wrist.

There aren't too many buttons, just what you need.

In terms of battery, really not greedy and anyway you can always put rechargeable batteries.

Precision nil, works on all supports even glass;)

Anyway, I'm promoting lol ^^ but I'm happy with it

Edit: I see that it is unanimous! Sold!

Hi all

Personally I use a Microsoft sidewinder:

http://www.nextinpact.com/archive/38400-souris-microsoft-sidewinder-microsoft-hardxa.htm

a bit expensive but for the wrist, the clicks (especially the wheel), several types of pad, programmable, 3 speed functions and even if it seems gimmicky, the fact of weighting it is very appreciable depending on the surface of use!

Performace MX too, but with http://www.3dconnexion.fr/products/spacenavigator.html hard to do without it after having tasted it!

Hello

so I also switched to the MX performance because my revolution had problems with untimely clicking.

I see an additional advantage on the performance because it's a battery and you can continue to work by connecting the USB cable to charge the battery. The revolution has a battery where you are forced to place it on its support for the load.

Re-Salute

Otherwise in rescue mouse I also have a Logitech Marathon Mouse M705, which is much less ergonomic than the MX performance but which is also cheaper and a real camel in terms of battery consumption (1 year  in daily use)

I would like to thank you all for your answers, which helped me in my reflection.

I also work with a space pilot of the left hand and the comfort for the mouse of the right hand is essential (beginning of carpal tunnel problem).

So I'm going to buy a vertical ergonomic mouse.... We'll see.....

Thank you again.
