My good mouse has just let go of me and she is now nowhere to be found. The one I have as a replacement is torture: clicks too hard, approximate pointing,.... In short, for drawing it's not going well at all.
I have been using my Logitech MX Revolution for more than 5 years. Unfortunately this product is no longer manufactured. However, one model is very close: Performance Mouse MX
It is also necessary to take into account the ancillary uses: office automation, erp, etc. The MX has the advantage of having the scroll wheel which allows two speeds of scrolling. You switch from one to the other by clicking on the roulette wheel. It's very practical, especially on excel.
Then comes the question: wireless or not. I personally think that if you want wireless, you have to take high-end products: battery and not battery, and autonomy... If not, we keep the good old thread.
Once again, the product must therefore be adapted to its use. The configurable buttons allow you to switch from one activity to another and to benefit from adapted shortcuts.
Finally, the last point that seems important to me is the after-sales service. So I'm going to talk about what I know: the Logitech service is great.
a bit expensive but for the wrist, the clicks (especially the wheel), several types of pad, programmable, 3 speed functions and even if it seems gimmicky, the fact of weighting it is very appreciable depending on the surface of use!
so I also switched to the MX performance because my revolution had problems with untimely clicking.
I see an additional advantage on the performance because it's a battery and you can continue to work by connecting the USB cable to charge the battery. The revolution has a battery where you are forced to place it on its support for the load.
Otherwise in rescue mouse I also have a Logitech Marathon Mouse M705, which is much less ergonomic than the MX performance but which is also cheaper and a real camel in terms of battery consumption (1 year in daily use)
