Good evening to the forum.
To make it easier to find SW documents, there is the Label function to associate keywords with SW documents or to the tree's fcts.
I haven't found any precise information on how to use it.
is it effective for indexing SW files on W7?
Thank you.
Good night
Julian
In the help they only talk about attaching labels to a function

It would seem very heavy to use... But hey, there is surely a real use...
As for its effectiveness, I can't comment because I've never used it.
We use EPDM which is really effective as long as the data map corresponds to your research needs.
The bulk of the work is in the implementation of the EPDM. But once that's done, it rolls like clockwork.

Visbly it's used:
- On the File Explorer tab of the task pane
- In the File Explorer pane of SolidWorks Explorer
It doesn't talk about standard windows search, it's not compatible
