In SolidWorks Explorer, on some of my projects, when I rename a part, it reconciles with the parent assembly and forwards the link to the new name.
But in the one I'm making, I have an assembly with a hundred parts and I don't know why, it doesn't find the "use in... "
Is there a special property to have somewhere for it to work?
Thank you

Hello
In my opinion you fall on the limits of the tool which does not use a database as PDM tools can do and therefore it only uses Windows search so if a lot of files and a lot of windows directory lags compared to that.

You have to fill in which folder he is looking for references.
On the other assemblies it finds parts because they must be located in the folder or a subfolder of your assembly.
This is because SWExplorer searches the lower directories by default.

It works! Thank you
I think the "basic" path has too many characters...
If I point him to a folder "closer" to the room, he finds his way around.
