Variable in equation

In my solidworks piece, I have created from the equation gesture a LG_A_PLAT property that is equal to the sum of several lg of a sketch.

I can't retrieve this property in a drawing note.

Any idea?

Hello

Shouldn't you create a custom property related to your global variable to make it appear in the drawing?

Edit: that's right:

Lastly, I will add a Custom Property from File>Properties and link it to the global variable Overall Length.  This custom property can be displayed in a note in a drawing or in the BOM.

And by attaching the note to your sketch? Can't select the variable?

Edit: by putting the annotation and then checking the second box "Model in the view specified in the sheet property" we find the different values. On the other hand, the operation is not done...

Thanks guys, I had forgotten to bind the "LG_A_PLAT" property with the global variable.

I can't display the value of my property in a note in my drawing!!!!

Yet here is how I proceeded:

The result is surprising:

It's okay I found the error:

My custom property was "LG_A_PLAT", you should not put a "" for the name of a property.
