Bug fixing: edrawings does not allow viewing of Catia files.
You can try this software (without conversion?):

To my knowledge, only Declam Exchange reads CATIA native formats.
Only it's just a viewer (no measurement)

Otherwise there is ENOVIA (DMU) which allows you to open CATIA but for a viewer it's a luxury (paid of course).
Otherwise, if it's just to make presentations without having Catia, you can go through 3dxml. There is a free player. It allows you to hide/display parts but not much more.
There is also 3D_Analyzer (viewer made in France ;-) ) which replays most of the native formats on the market.
It also allows you to carry out many analyses of 3D files (thickness control, comparison, creation of projected surfaces, etc.).
