Volume of a hopper?

Hello world

How I can know the volume of a hopper (see attached part) using Solidworks

Thank you

hopper.sldprt

Here, the "rule" is to put a title and then in the box below to put the text of the question, starting with Hello, specifying what has been attempted.
The work will not be done for you...

Thank you

Hello

The easiest way is to generate the volume filling the hopper (without merging it with the rest).
To do this, you can use the surface functions (surface offset by 0 / flat surface / sew and form a volume).
By selecting only this volume, with the Evaluate/Mass Property tool, you will have the information you are looking for.

The hopper has no thickness

it is only a surface

So to know a real volume you must at least know the thickness of the sheet metal

which of + is this type of part this is done for my part in multipart or assembly

2-2 angle

1 hopper

Hello

You can create a volume using your surface. You'll be in multiplayer mode: Surface + Volume.
Then you measure your volume, then you turn it off to continue working only with your surface.
