Good evening
I'd like to show part of a dotted view to show how it's done behind...
It's a fairly large area, so not very compatible with a detail view
Is it possible in SW? personally I didn't succeed

Hello
The local cut doesn't satisfy you?
Option 2 "show hidden edges" on the parts you want to show the details of.
I don't think it's possible to do half and half, a hack must be feasible by making two cropped views in the same place and then aligning them by the origin...

Good evening
No a local cut, it won't work, I want to show a part of my view, but not necessarily a place defined by a cut, rather something like "crop the view", i.e. a free-form sketch.
2 cropped views superimposed it's an idea, it's true that it's a bit of a hack, but hey it helps.
Thank you

Hello Hubert
I guess it's in the MEP that you want to do that!
I tested the cropped views, it works well, the only problem is that it is impossible to put a dimension between these two views.
Hello:
To see with my tutorial on view of another position:

You just need to do 2 configurations.
Good evening
Thank you all for your answers, I'll deal with the 2 cropped views, even if we can't rate each other, in this case it's not a big deal.
