View/ Projection/ Color Isometry in the Drafting Workshop - CATIA

Hello

In the Drafting workshop, I inserted an isometric view into a layer from an assembly of colored parts. However, in the layer, there is no color on this view.

How can I get the colors of my parts in my eyesight?

Hello

On the view frame (red dotted frame) Right click / Properties ("View" tab).

In the window, start by checking "3D color".

Then "Generation Mode" switch from exact view to "Bitmap image" and then modify the options as needed.

Notes:

  • The result is an image so you have to put the dimension before (otherwise you go back to exact view).
  • It is best to change the default background of the CatDrawing to white.
  • If selected , remove the analysis mode to return to the black dimension.
