VPN access to the PDM server

Hello
We are trying unsuccessfully to use Solidworks PDM for remote access via VPN.
What checks are necessary to confirm the reasons for this malfunction?
For information, when we are connected by VPN to the network hosting the PDM server, the client PC is declared on another network.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Kind regards

Hello

I think the question is no longer relevant, but for the record I am teleworking, connect to VPN on my company's network, and work normally with PDM. We use GlobalProtect.

In my opinion the problem is not the VPN, but the fact that there are two networks...

Good luck!

Have a nice day

Depending on the VPNs and the architecture of the network, there may be problems.

We have databases replicated between 2 sites. Our VPN does not allow you to connect to the replica of A's archive that is in network B. The archive server and the SQL server must be on the same local network for the VPN to work.

When your SQL server is 10000 km away, it's not great to load/archive Solidworks files from such a remote server (it works but don't be in a hurry).

So we have 2 VPN servers (one for each depending on the base you want to connect to).
