Double-language Rating display

Hello

I'm looking to display my quotation in double language in solidworks French.

Let me explain, I already know how to display a double rating "mm" and "po" but I want to display "mm" and "in" because our plans are aimed at countries using imperial units and the English language. For them, "po" is not meaningful.

 Is this possible?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Hello

When you indicate "in" you are talking about inches?? Because if this is the case, inches and inches, it's the same thing (English==>French), so you just have to go to tool - option - properties of the document, then units and the in the length box of the double dimension, you put inches and then you will have to save your MEP file in drwdot.

Or you click on custom or MMGS in the bottom right and you'll get there too.

Dsl misunderstood the question... I arrive at the same result... And I don't think that's possible... Unless you find a system that manually adds the units of measurement in replace with the values.

Hello

You have to put solidworks in English for "inch" to change to "inch"

Attached is an image showing the two checkboxes

Kind regards.

Hello

Why make the plan heavier with the units behind each side?

Why not put the corresponding units (mm/[in]) in a corner of the cartridge?

Hello

In addition to PhilipeB's answer, this is what is done in all "standard" component specs. I'm thinking among others of the plans available at Southco, Molex... The applicable unit and tolerance information is in the title block or in a note in the plan.
