Duct display

Hello

I am training on SW Routing: Piping using the specific manual. There is an exercise in creating a sheath (insulation) around a tube. When I edit the routing, the duct appears transparent. On the other hand, it disappears when I come out of the assembly. According to the manual, the duct should be created as an individual part in the component folder of the routing. This is not the case.

The SW helper says to select Show in Drawing in the Sheath PropertyManager, but this option cannot be found.

Thank you in advance for your solutions

On which version of SolidWorks? SW2017?

in routing

you have a built-in library

But you also have to create your own library of personal products stored outside of solidworks

to be able to keep it for future versions among others

therefore

 rigid tube

Flexible Tube

insulation

x section x material x thickness

each of these elements will have its own personal property so its ref

mass, price, color for rendering, etc.........

that you can show or not

not counting the accessories

elbows te screw sleeves weld

Flanges Valves Flap

 control accessories etc......

Thank you for your feedback

@alain, yes, it's SW2017, can it be a problem?

@gt22, I'm in the process of creating my own library but in this case, I'm the guide that uses existing elements in the SW libraries or those that I had to download from the SW website.
