Display Room only visible if selected?

Hello

On Solidworks 2011, I have a problem displaying the parts because they are invisible.

When I open a normal part, the functions are there, the bodies too except that it is invisible and if I select it in the 3D view by clicking on it, it appears normally. If I deselect it, it disappears.

Do you know where this bug comes from?

Is it due to a Solidworks setting or rather a graphics problem (like the graphics card)?

In my humble opinion it's + a graphics card problem

What is your graphics card?

The link above will allow you to know if your card is compatible and if the drivers are also compatible

That's it for the first info I could give you

I looked at your link and filled in the information. The only problem is that you can't select Solidworks 2011, it only starts in 2012:(

But hey, if I put solidworks 2012, it tells me that it's good and that it works very well.

But it has always worked until today, I was thinking maybe more of an update of the graphics card or something like that.

It may also be a Solidworks setting that bugs, because just now when touching the settings, it worked again for a while but we can't find what it is anymore.

Is it the last SolidWorks SP that is installed? It seems to me that it is the 2011SP5.
Otherwise it is not a body that is hidden?

A piece of advice if it works well never install an auto update

so try to go back to a previous config to see

(a date when it worked) yesterday last week I don't know you you should know

and fire the auto updates

put your files on the site to be able to understand what is happening

@.pl The version of Solidworks 2011 that is installed is SP5.0 and has not been changed recently.

@gt22 It doesn't come from the part files, since it does that on all the parts that I open and that worked very well before.

so update your PC to an earlier date to see

What do you have as a graphics card?

Hello

Did you simply restart SolidWorks? See your PC?

If it doesn't change anything, reload your settings via the "Copy Settings Wizard" tool in Start/Programs/SolidWorks 2011/SolidWorks Tools (assuming you had made a backup, or make a backup on a colleague's computer).

Well after an update of the graphics card drivers, it works again.

@Benoit LF I tried everything you say before but it didn't solve the problem.
