I don't know if it's possible, even while limping furiously at the level of windows.
On the other hand, I'm interested if it works...
Hello
I'm not sure you can display this in Windows Explorer (...)
As you separate the references from the designations, if you have "design assistant", you can search by selecting what you need by project and/or file.
Alternatively, save the file with numéro_désignation and then change the project ownership parts and designations to the resulting document number, part number, and designation
Another solution: have an exel file for example with automatic filling (macro or rule) or manual with resignation of all the necessary elements
For the moment, I only have these solutions in mind...
Hello
In addition to Loloboyo, the acquisition of a PDM has many advantages in addition to the search for files according to the properties such as the preservation of all versions, life cycles, validation, model views, bills of materials with all types of files etc...
Under the old versions we could... weird....
On the other hand, you can have access to ipropriété via design assistant
Hello, thank you for your answers.
But I'm looking for a simpler solution than having to go through another software to access this information.
When I was working on SolidWorks it was feasible and simplified things a lot: you can find a part by its reference or by its designation in a Windows window, even on a PC that doesn't have SolidWorks.
I would like to find this again with Inventor, in order to set up a part referencing in my new company, without complicating the search for elements.
I continue my research, do not hesitate to give me other solutions if you know of any.
Thank you
FYI, with SolidWorks there was sometimes a .DLL file to "reactivate" via the Windows command prompt, in order to put a description line in the file save window (part, assembly or drawing). It is this description that then appears in Windows windows with the detailed view.
Or, there may be a macro to put in my templates that will allow this description to be displayed...
