Solidworks Offline Help

Hello everyone,

Anyone have a trick to have the SW2013 manual offline?

Like PDF or EXE?

Thank you very much;)

Hello

The manual or the iad?

If you are talking about help, just uncheck "use help on the solidworks web" in the "?" menu.

Help, I'll try to print it in a PDF with PDF creator!

Otherwise it's a "chm" file that is in the SW install folders:

C:\ProgramFiles\SolidWorksCorp\SolidWorks\lang\english\sldworks.chm

It can be viewed offline and copied to any post!

Except on my personal computer which is under GNU/Linux!

So in this case, if your PC is connected to the net, go directly to the SolidWorks help web page:

http://help.solidworks.com/2013/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_introduction_toplevel_topic.htm

At worst, I also have Linux at home under Ubuntu, there are software to read the chm, for example KCHMVIEWER!

Hello

I'm interfering in your conversation... In addition to what Coyote says.

Convert CHM files to HTML , with arCHMage (no more worries on Linux)

Otherwise, the chms are readable on linux, 2 solutions

it should normally help you read this on your machine,

If it's free, I'll take it!

Thank you;)
