Nomenclature Guide

Hello

How to change the width of BOM columns.

Otherwise in excel it's the souk (see article 4 because in the description column I have three lines impossible to change in excel.

I guess it's in the BOM model but how to do it.

Kind regards

Hello @Zozo_mp ,

Possible to drag manually as in excel,

Or via a width defined via right-click >formatting,

I see that you're on excel, so you exported the bill of materials to excel, or do you use an Excel-based bill of materials? In this case I assume that the sheet is protected,

Hello @Lynk

Thanks for ""right-click >formatting,"

I just discovered that to move a column by hand it's a little different from excel where you move the column width to the top of the column while in Soliworks you have to select the vertical lines in the middle of the page (the top of the column being inactive).

THANK YOU iiiiiiiiii

Kind regards

PS: I'm just making a backup of the BOM in excel.

On the other hand, there is no dynamic interaction between the BOM and the excel file, which means that if you modify the ASM, the changes are not reflected in the excel file.

If you know how to do it, please sir, tell me everything!

Kind regards

If I remember correctly it's possible, basically the trick was to link two nomenclatures, I'll keep you posted,

D'acc ;-)

Hello zozo

Apparently the trick of linking a BOM is from an assembly BOM and on a referenced drawing not on an external file, it may be feasible via a macro or other,

Thank you@Lynk

I'm going to look at it with an assembly made for this manip.

I will keep you and you informed as soon as possible.
